Hinged Non Welded Bow Spring Turbolizer

Crimson’s Hinged Non-Welded Turbolizers share all the performance characteristics of standard centralizers in terms of starting force, but with an added functional advantage — deflector blades are integrated into the standard bow springs.

These fins, made from heat-treated spring steel, are designed and manufactured in accordance with API 10D specifications. Their primary function is to create turbulence in the cement slurry during pumping operations, ensuring uniform cement placement. The blade orientation can be adjusted clockwise or counterclockwise to optimize cement displacement, while their spring-like flexibility minimizes potential damage when running downhole.

This design enhances wellbore cleaning efficiency, promotes better cement slurry distribution in irregular formations, and helps reduce channeling. The bows are securely mounted on a specially engineered self-locking end collar featuring an integrated stop mechanism for additional reliability.

Each Hinged Non-Welded Bow Spring Turbolizer undergoes a protective iron phosphate treatment followed by a polyester powder coating to resist corrosion. Products are available in semi-assembled form to lower shipping and storage costs, and offered in sizes ranging from 4½” to 20”, with custom sizes or configurations available upon request.
